Study on the National People’s Power (NPP) Government in Sri Lanka

This study examines the key political, economic and foreign policy dimensions of the NPP government, against the backdrop of the 2022 national economic crisis. The following dimensions were explored in the study:

  1. The politics surrounding the post-2022 economic reforms programme in Sri Lanka
  2. The dynamics that surrounded the NPP’s rise to power
  3. Key political and policy dimensions of the NPP government in office
  4. An analysis on the foreign policy strategies and options for the new government
