A capacity-building workshop for 30 grassroots activists, conducted as part of the project Strengthening Resilience against Disinformation in Sri Lanka, co-implemented by Democracy Reporting International, and Factum, and co-funded by the European Union.
The workshop was held on 20 December 2025 at Hotel Janaki and focused on understanding misinformation and disinformation, digital risks, activist engagement, and implementation planning. The sessions were facilitated by resource persons Mr. Dulanjaya Mahagamage, Ms. Melani Gunathilaka, and Mr. Harindra Dassanayake.
